My experience as a frequent recitalist on the famed six-manual Harrah Symphonic Organ in Hurricane, West Virginia, led me to envision a local instrument of comparable magnitude and versatility in a venue where it can be enjoyed by enthusiastic San Francisco audiences on a regular basis while also serving as an exceptionally versatile concert instrument.
Acclaimed organ builder Allen Harrah, the recognized pioneer of hybrid organ technology, gave us a significant advantage by donating countless hours to the design and execution of this instrument.
